Battered cars and surrounding houses: The Russian Federation launched missiles at Zmiiv in Kharkiv region

At 01:00 on August 14, almost simultaneously with the announcement of the air alert, residents of Kharkiv heard explosions.

Updated at 09:58. In the morning, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Syniehubov, reported that strikes on Kharkiv had not been recorded.

At the same time, the Russians struck the Zmiiv community south of the regional center.

According to the Defense Staff, the rockets were launched by invaders from the territory of Russia.

One of the enemy shells targeted the territory of the critical infrastructure object.

Nearby houses and cars were damaged.

The condition of three injured community residents – a 27-year-old man and a woman aged 38 and 74 – is light.

The day after 18:00, the Russians fired incendiary ammunition at the civilian infrastructure in Kyiv’s Kharkiv district, provoking the roofs of commercial buildings to catch fire.
