The next few weeks will be decisive: Zhdanov on the battles in the Kherson direction
The right-bank grouping of the Russian occupation forces in the South is actually in a fire “bag”.
Military expert Oleh Zhdanov expressed such an opinion. He agreed with the conclusions of the American Institute for the Study of War that the next few weeks will be decisive in the battles in the Kherson direction.
– Today, we can take off all the logistics, which will affect the combat capability of the units. When ammunition starvation begins, fuel and oil will be running out, and supplies, then this group may lose combat capability. Then we can offer them to surrender or retreat, – explained the expert.
According to Oleh Zhdanov, one or two weeks is enough to reduce the combat potential of the Russian troops to a situation where they will leave their positions.
A few days ago, the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Rostyslav Smirnov, said that the Russian troops can choose one of two scenarios in the Kherson region.
In his opinion, the loss of the South would be an extremely big hit for Russia, so the aggressor country is preparing for defense there.
