Soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces raised the Ukrainian flag over two villages near Lyman

Ukrainian defenders raised the national flag of Ukraine in the villages of Dibrova and Shchurov, in the Donetsk region.

This is reported by journalists and Telegram channels. One of them is the Operational Armed Forces of Ukraine Telegram channel, which publishes operational news about the advancement of the Ukrainian army. Previously, it was recommended for review by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

Judging by the released video, National Guard fighters took part in the liberation of the settlement of Dibrova.

– We are raising the flag over the settlement of Donetsk region. Dibrova comes under the control of the Ukrainian army. The National Guard of Ukraine is liberating our territories step by step, village by village. Victory will be ours. Glory to Ukraine! – emphasized the military man in the video.

It also became known about the raising of the flag of Ukraine in the resort village of Shchurove, Donetsk region. A serviceman of the 66th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in a video released to the public. He noted that the Ukrainian defenders took Shchurove under their control.

The village was once known for its campsites and children’s camps.

On the Deep State map, both settlements are already marked as liberated. It is worth noting that neither the General Staff of the Armed Forces nor the Ministry of Defense have yet released official information about the liberation of the villages of Shchurove and Dibrova.

Both villages are located near the city of Liman, for which heavy battles are currently taking place: Shchurove is about 17 km away, and Dibrova is 13 km away.

Earlier, the adviser of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovych, explained that the Russian front in Donbas may collapse if the Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct a successful counteroffensive in the directions of the main road junctions. And one of the key roles in this is played by the de-occupation of the city of Lyman.
