As in Bucha and Izyum: atrocities of the Russian Federation will still be found in the liberated cities – ISW

Ukraine, during the liberation of the occupied territories, will probably continue to find evidence of Russian war crimes and atrocities, as in Bucha and Izyum.
Specialists of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported this in their report after discovering mass burials of civilians and torture chambers in liberated Izyum.
ISW recalled that their freelance employee Nataliya Bugayova warned back in April 2022 that Bucha is an observable microcosm of a deliberate Russian terrorist campaign against Ukrainians.
At that time, Nataliya Bugayova stated that the same deliberate atrocities were taking place throughout the territory of Ukraine occupied by Russia.
– Released footage from the liberated Izyum confirms ISW’s previous assessments that the atrocities in Bucha were not isolated war crimes, – experts say.
The fact that the number of victims of war crimes in Izyum may exceed the number of victims in Bucha was reported, in particular, by the Ministry of Reintegration of Ukraine.
We will remind that more than 400 bodies with traces of torture were found at the place of mass burial in Izyum, Kharkiv region.
Ukrainian law enforcement officers found 10 Russian torture chambers in Vovchansk, Kupyansk, Balaklia and Izyum.
In one of the torture chambers, which was located in the Balaklia Police Department, Russians, wearing masks, tortured civilians with exposed electric wires.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for the 206th day.
