Slabs collapsed from the 9th to the 7th floor: in Toretsk, the Russian Federation hit the nine-story building with missiles
On September 22, the Russian military attacked Toretsk in the Donetsk region with missiles, as a result of which a residential building was hit.
The floor slabs collapsed from the impact in one of the entrances – from the 9th to the 7th floor. Rescuers managed to get 19 people out of the rubble, including two children.
– This is another example of the fact that evacuation saves lives. Anyone who still has not left the territory of Donetsk region, especially from the zone of active hostilities, puts his life in mortal danger every day. Do not take it lightly, – emphasizes the head of the Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko.
According to him, significant human casualties were avoided because the vast majority of the building’s residents evacuated: only 10 people have remained in 53 apartments. Only one person was injured.
