Security zone around the ZNPP: Grossi will return to Ukraine after his visit to the Russian Federation

Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi will return to Ukraine after he visits the Russian Federation.
He informed about this on his Twitter account. Grossi’s visits relate to creating a security zone around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.
– The resumption of direct attacks on the only external energy source of the ZNPP is an extremely irresponsible step. It is necessary to protect Zaporizhzhya NPP. Soon I will go to Russia and then again to Ukraine to agree on a security zone. This is an urgent task, he emphasized.
The resumption of direct shelling, hitting #Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant’s sole source of external power, is tremendously irresponsible. #ZNPP must be protected. I will soon travel to ???????? Russia & again to ???????? Ukraine to agree on a protection zone. This is an imperative. https://t.co/adL9e6qJkp

Earlier, the IAEA head explained that he planned to report to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the results of the talks in Moscow.
Grossi might visit Russia at the beginning of next week. He arrived in Kyiv the other day and met with Zelenskyy.
It should be noted that tonight Russian occupation troops shelled the territory of Zaporizhzhya NPP again and damaged the last line of communication with the power system of Ukraine. As a result, Zaporizhzhya NPP was completely de-energized.
The plant now depends on diesel generators to provide power for reactor cooling and other important nuclear safety functions.
According to the IAEA, all safety systems of the plant continue to receive power and operate normally. There is enough fuel for the diesel generators to last at least ten days. ZNPP engineers have already started repairing the damaged power line.
The other day Rafael Grossi announced the doubling of the IAEA mission at the nuclear power plant from two to four people.
