For the first time, Iran officially admitted that it provided drones to Russia

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan officially admitted for the first time that his country supplied Russia with drones.
However, he stated that it was a small number of drones that were allegedly sent several months before the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.
– We provided a limited number of drones to Russia a few months before the war in Ukraine, – said the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
He also added that Iran allegedly did not know about the use of drones against Ukraine.
– If Ukraine has documents confirming that Russia used Iranian drones, it should provide them to us. If they prove to us that the Russian Federation used Iranian drones in the war against Ukraine, we will not remain indifferent, – he said.
It will be recalled that earlier in Iran denied the supply of drones to Russia. However, the Russian Federation is actively using Iranian combat kamikaze drones Shahed-136 in the war against Ukraine.
And the other day, the Main Directorate of Intelligence reported that Iran plans to hand over a new batch of combat drones to Russia in the amount of more than 200 units at the beginning of November this year.
