The occupiers are afraid of an attack by the Armed Forces from two directions: Musienko on the scenarios after the liberation of Kherson
After the liberation of Kherson, the Armed Forces of Ukraine got the opportunity to fire control the territory occupied in the south. Ukrainian artillery can strike right up to the border with occupied Crimea, destroying manpower, equipment and destroying Russian logistics.
Military expert Oleksandr Musienko stated this on the air of the telethon.
– I would like to remind you that the Crimean Bridge has not been fully restored. This is the first. Secondly, they have more and more problems with logistics through Mariupol to Berdyansk and Melitopol. Much less can be delivered by rail from Crimea, even taking into account our potential to inflict a powerful blow on them. I think it will be even less, – he said.
According to him, the Russians are now actively strengthening their positions in the Zaporizhzhia region and on the border with the occupied Crimea, because they are afraid of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and do not know where it might come from.
– If we look even from the south, from the direction of Zaporizhzhia, we can strike at Melitopol and other populated areas. Accordingly, also from the west, from the right bank of the Kherson region, and from the north, from the Zaporizhzhia district, – Musienko emphasized.
In his opinion, no one will give “rest” to the Russians who fled to the left bank of the Dnipro, and the opportunity to resupply the units.
– I think there will be an effort to destroy as many of the enemy’s forces and means as possible, so that he cannot transfer them either to the east or to another place, plus create additional conditions for Ukrainian cities to continue offensive actions, – the expert added.
