Train to victory: On November 18, the first train leaves for Kherson

On November 18, the first train will depart for Kherson liberated from Russian occupants.
The train will depart from Kyiv at 22:14.
It will arrive in Kherson at 09:00 on November 19.
The first passengers will be almost two hundred people who have purchased charity tickets for the first train.
The train has a symbolic name – Train to Victory.
The train cars were painted by Ukrainian artists.
On November 13, Ukrzaliznytsia announced the launch of the Tickets to Victory charity project.
According to the terms of the project, everyone can buy tickets for the first three flights from Kyiv to the already liberated Kherson, as well as the still occupied Mariupol, Donetsk, Luhansk and Simferopol.
The ticket generated by the link can be used as soon as Ukrzaliznytsia resumes train traffic after de-occupation, as it has already happened with the flight to Kherson.
The money from ticket sales will be used through the UNITED24 platform to purchase last-mile transport – cars that will help connect cities and towns in the de-occupied territories with the nearest railway junctions.
