During a nationwide telethon, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ihnat, stated this.
According to him, the Russians now want to set certain conditions by massive missile strikes to induce negotiations.
– We see that there are serious battles in Donbas. The line of contact has stabilized somewhat and lies near the Dnipro river.
It is too early to talk about a tangible offensive. Time will tell if there will be one, – said the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recently, Kremlin spokesman Dmitriy Peskov admitted that Russia is destroying critical infrastructure to persuade Ukraine to negotiate.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that ISIS terrorists behave similarly when killing innocent people to fulfill their demands.
And the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said that Moscow had not officially asked for peace talks.
