The damage was recorded: the ombudsman spoke about the consequences of the shelling by the Russians of the ZNPP
Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reported that as a result of today’s arrivals at the site of the Zaporizhzhіa NPP after Russian shelling, the station’s infrastructure was damaged.
He wrote about this on November 20 in his social networks.
– This is precisely the infrastructure that would enable the 5th and 6th power units to be launched to restore the Zaporizhzhia NPP’s electricity production for Ukraine’s needs. As we can see, the Russian Federation neglects the stay of IAEA experts at the nuclear power plant, the common sense and safety of not only those who are at the station, but also those people who may become victims of an irreparable tragedy, – Lubinets said.
The Ombudsman once again emphasized that the presence of Russian troops at the nuclear plant is a direct threat to the entire world.
– I call on the international community to react harshly and, despite everything, to force the Russian Federation to withdraw all Russian military personnel from the territory of the station and the city of Energodar, so that the Zaporizhzhіa NPP is returned to the full control of Ukraine. Only this is a guarantee of the safety of the whole world! – he wrote.
