Ukraine will receive HMMWV off-road vehicles from Luxembourg
The authorities of Luxembourg have decided to provide Ukraine with additional military cross-country vehicles HMMWV.
This was announced on Twitter by the Minister of Defense of Luxembourg Francois Bausch.
– The Luxembourg Army and the Luxembourg Ministry of Defence are supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine by sending additional High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV). This will strengthen Ukraine in exercising its right to self-defence,” Bausch wrote.
It should be noted that these jeeps are used by troops of many countries – including the United States.

They are not ideal as armored personnel carriers, but they have good cross-country ability and are suitable for airborne assault. The vehicles are necessary for Ukrainian defenders at the front due to active hostilities.
Bausch added that Luxembourg will support Ukraine as long as it is necessary.
His country plans to join the European training mission for the Ukrainian military called EUMAM Ukraine.
Earlier, Colonel Guy Hoffmann, National Director for Armaments and Coordinator of Military Assistance of Luxembourg, said that his country is considering the possibility of transferring 155 mm artillery ammunition, drones and armored vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
