Russia spreads fakes about the offensive from Belarus to scare Ukrainians and disorient the Armed Forces of Ukraine – DIU

Russia is trying to scare Ukrainians by spreading information about a possible attack from Belarus.
This was reported by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Andriy Yusov on Freedom TV channel.
He noted that Russia’s information and psychological operations have several goals. In particular, the occupants seek to sow panic among the population and disorient the Ukrainian defense forces.
– Also, the object and goals of this special psychological operation are Belarus itself and Belarusians, that is, the escalation. To make it sparkle and still involve Belarus itself in a full-scale war, which has not happened until now,” Yusov said.
According to the representative of the GUR, there are no signs that a full-scale invasion by Belarus will take place in the near future.
– We are not saying that there is no threat from Lukashenko’s regime. There is, Lukashenko is helping Putin with weapons, ammunition and armored vehicles. He provides his airspace for strikes on Ukraine, but today we cannot say that in the near future there will be a full-scale invasion and involvement of Belarus in the ground operation,” he concluded.
