The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Security and Defense Forces of the South, Natalia Humeniuk, says that the reduction in the use of Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones by the Russians may indicate the end of stocks, as well as a change in the tactics of their use.

She said this on Thursday, December 1, during a national telethon.

– Recently, we have seen that kamikaze drones are attacked, but much less frequently, in particular, these are Russian-made Lancets. The fact that they are not currently using Shaheds, which they had a lot of in the beginning, may indicate both the end of stocks and the fact that tactics are changing, as well as the study of the nuances of their maneuverability in new weather conditions, – she said.

Gumenyuk also recalled that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck at the drone control training point, during which Iranian instructors were eliminated.

She added that the Ukrainian military will closely monitor the change in the situation regarding the use of Shahed.

Earlier it was reported that Russia is actively using Iranian Shahed-136 drones to strike Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure facilities.

The media write that Russia has agreed with Iran on the production of these drones on its territory.
