How much time does Ukraine have between massive Russian missile attacks: expert’s answer

Military and political observer of the Information Resistance group Oleksandr Kovalenko estimated how much time Russia spends on preparing the next massive shelling of Ukraine.
The possibilities of shelling have decreased
After the strikes on Russian airfields began, Russia had to urgently redeploy its aviation.
Kovalenko stressed that this greatly simplifies the work of the Ukrainian air defense, because the farther the Russian aviation is located, the more time it will take to strike at Ukraine.
In addition, the Russians have been using specific sites since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. All processes have already been established there – logistics, sending ammunition.
– Now it is all destroyed, they have to actually build a new system of shelling the territory of Ukraine. It is very inconvenient, so I do not exclude that they will conduct shelling at longer intervals,” the expert explained.
The frequency of shelling is influenced by many factors
After each overflight, Russian planes undergo maintenance, and sometimes also repair work. If these are longer flight distances for shelling, it will be a greater load on such an aircraft, which will affect the frequency and timing of strikes on Ukraine.
– On average, massive shelling of Ukraine takes them up to two weeks. This is not only the preparation of sites, but also the accumulation of ammunition. For massive shelling they need at least 50 missiles – 60, 70. The accumulation of this ammunition is also a process. Not only production, but also removal from conservation. There are repair works, maintenance” Oleksandr Kovalenko said.
