Duda on security guarantees for the Russian Federation: NATO will not treat Moscow as it treats Kyiv

Polish President Andrzej Duda promised Russia that NATO countries will not treat it the way it has recently treated Ukraine and its people – and these are security guarantees that Russians can count on.
– What we as honest people, politicians, members of NATO can guarantee to Russia is that no one intends to do to it what it is doing to its neighbors, – Sky News quotes the statement of the Polish president.
Before that, French President Emmanuel Macron caused a wave of criticism with a statement that NATO countries should allegedly provide Russia with security guarantees before it sits down at the negotiating table.
He did not name the details of these guarantees, but international partners reacted sharply to this statement – Germany called it “strange to say the least”, and Finland emphasized that it is the Kremlin that ignores the international order and seizes foreign territories.
