For the needs of the Russian army: Russian oligarch tried to export ore worth UAH 2 billion from Ukraine

The pro-Kremlin oligarch was preparing to export to Russia more than 160 thousand tons of Ukrainian iron ore, which he hid in underground warehouses. The raw materials, the cost of which was estimated at almost UAH 2 billion, he planned to transfer to the needs of the army of the aggressor country.
This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine.
As noted, the ore was found on the territory of several seaports of Ukraine.
– It was established that the found batch of iron ore belongs to the company of a Russian oligarch, who is a member of the inner circle of the Kremlin’s top military and political leadership, Alisher Usmanov. After February 24 this year, the NSDC of Ukraine, the United States and the European Union imposed sanctions on him, – the statement reads.
According to intelligence, the minerals were planned to be transferred to the needs of the metallurgical industry and the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation to meet the needs of the Russian occupation groups.
The seized property was seized, the issue of its transfer to the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA) is being decided.
