Shmyhal announced defense spending during a full-scale war
During the full-scale war, the Government allocated more than UAH 1.2 trillion to the security and defense sector.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal reported this in Telegram.
– Next year, as well as this year, building a strong army will be the main task of the Government. We have significantly increased payments to all military personnel. More than 250 billion hryvnias were allocated for the purchase and modernization of weapons and equipment that effectively destroys the occupiers, – he said.
Shmyhal noted that a number of long-term contracts for the production of weapons for Ukraine have been concluded, which will be financed by the governments of the USA, Germany, Denmark, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Norway and other partner countries of our state over the next 2-3 years.
– The Ukrainian army, without exaggeration, is now one of the strongest in Europe and the world. And our army will bring us victory, – he added.
