Zaluzhnyi: Russia launched 20 missiles over Ukraine before the New Year, 12 were shot down by air defense
On December 31, Russia fired more than 20 cruise missiles at civilian targets in Ukraine during another massive missile strike.
This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
– Previously, the enemy launched more than 20 air-launched cruise missiles using Tu-95ms strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea and ground-based missile systems, – he wrote in Telegram.
The forces and means of our air defense destroyed 12 cruise missiles: 6 within Kyiv, 5 Zhytomyr and one Khmelnytskyi regions.
We will remind that Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and other settlements were hit by enemy strikes. According to the latest data, there are victims, and it is also known about the dead as a result of the Russian missile attack.
