Ukraine will launch a major counteroffensive in the spring – Budanov
The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov said in an interview with ABC News that Ukraine is planning a “serious” counteroffensive in the spring.
According to him, the fighting on the front line in March will be the “hottest”.
– Then (we will see more, – Ed.) liberation of territories and the task of final defeat of the Russian Federation. This will take place throughout Ukraine, from Crimea to Donbas, – he said.
Budanov expressed gratitude to all foreign allies for all the help they have already provided and are providing, and asked them to continue supporting Ukraine.
– I promise that now it won’t take long and every taxpayer in the US will be able to see where every cent went. Together we will change this world, – Budanov said, addressing his allies.
The head of the General Directorate of Intelligence expects that the US will send Bradley armored fighting vehicles to the Armed Forces in the near future.
– We are waiting for them. We are very much waiting. This will significantly increase the combat capability of our units, – he emphasized.
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi reported that Ukrainian defenders have continued their counteroffensive in the Donetsk direction.
