Zelenskyy has arrived in Lviv on an unannounced visit – what is known
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is visiting Lviv today, December 11.
As the head of state announced on social networks, he began his visit to this city by honoring the memory of Ukrainian soldiers.
– Glory to all those who gave their lives for our freedom and independence of our state! Glory to Ukraine! – emphasized the president.
The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyy, noted that Zelenskyy visited the Field of Mars at the Lychakiv Cemetery, where he honored the memory of those who died in the war.
During a working trip to Lviv Region, Zelenskyy held a coordination meeting on the state of border protection and the current security situation in the northwestern regions of Ukraine.
In particular, it was about the operational situation on the border with Belarus. Information about counter-subversive measures in the respective territories was also heard. During the meeting, information was heard on ensuring the protection and reliable functioning of the Rivne NPP.
The President also emphasized that protection from external risks will contribute to the normal functioning of the economy of these regions.
Later it became known that the President of Poland Andrzej Duda came to Lviv on a visit, and he had a meeting with Zelenskyi.
