DIU announces the number of Russian soldiers in Belarus

According to Ukrainian intelligence, there are almost 6,000 Russian troops on the territory of Belarus.
This information was announced by Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, during the telethon of the United News.
– Today, the ground component of the Russian army is 5,800 soldiers in Belarus. The second mechanized division has now moved to the territory of Russia and has also entered the territory of Ukraine. This is the Luhansk region.
Units of the sixth division and territorial troops are currently entering there for training,” noted Skibitsky.
According to him, this is a completely different contingent than it was at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
– “There is no powerful aviation component, despite the training, there is no powerful missile component, there are no airborne troops,” he added.
Skibitsky also said that currently Belarus has one division of Iskanders, S-300 and S-400 air defense missile systems and three MIG-31 aircraft.
