Ukrainian military will undergo training in Britain as part of the INTERFLEX training operation

In 2023, Ukrainian servicemen will continue training as part of the INTERFLEX training operation on the territory of Great Britain.

This is reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

— The INTERFLEX training operation is one of the vivid and effective examples of international support for Ukraine in countering Russia’s unjust, illegal and aggressive war against Ukraine, — says in the message.

It is also reported that in an address to the Parliament of Great Britain, the Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom, Ben Wallace, emphasized that their armed forces are doing everything possible to develop the combat skills of Ukrainian men and women.

In 2022, almost 10,000 Ukrainian servicemen were trained in Great Britain.

In 2023, the best instructors of the armed forces of Great Britain, Australia, Denmark, Canada, Lithuania, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Ukraine will participate in the INTERFLEX training operation. It is planned to train about 20,000 Ukrainian servicemen.

The training will be held at the facilities of the training and material base of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain in the north-west, south-west and south-east of the United Kingdom.

Each training course will last approximately five weeks and will be conducted under the overall direction of the 11th British Army Land Forces Brigade.

In order for Ukrainian soldiers to be able to train with the weapons they will use on the front lines, the UK government specially purchased AK automatic weapons.
