Save time – save more lives: Boris Johnson calls on the West to provide Ukraine with fighter jets as soon as possible

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called on Western countries to supply Ukraine with fighter jets “as soon as possible.”
This is reported by The Guardian.
It is noted that Johnson is in Washington for talks with US lawmakers to strengthen support for Ukraine. He said that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should receive all the necessary equipment.
– “I will only say that every time we said it would be a mistake to give such and such a piece of weaponry, we eventually did it, and it ultimately turned out to be the right thing for Ukraine,” he emphasized.
Johnson recalled how he was told that it was wrong to give Ukrainians anti-tank missiles, but they turned out to be indispensable.
The former prime minister said he remembers “the controversy over multiple launch rocket systems, MLRS,” but they proved to be “invaluable” to Ukrainians.
– All I’m saying is save time, save money, save lives. Give the Ukrainians what they need as soon as possible,” Boris Johnson urged.
