President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has revoked the Ukrainian citizenship of several former ministers and officials from the time of former President Viktor Yanukovych.

In his evening address on February 4, he said that he had signed the relevant documents during the day.

According to him, this is “another step to protect and cleanse our country from those on the side of the aggressor.”

Tomorrow, another legal step will be taken to implement the National Security and Defence Council’s sanctions decisions. And we are working on synchronizing our sanctions decisions with the jurisdictions of our partners. Enemies of the free world have no right to use the free world for their interests, – Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
