In the spring, Ukraine will receive SAMP-T air defense systems, anti-aircraft fighters have already gone to training

The Ukrainian military has already gone abroad to master the SAMP-T air defense systems.

This was announced by the commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk.

– I immediately made a decision to send the necessary number of units of anti-aircraft missile forces for training. And they are on their way –  he said.

The lieutenant general also thanked the governments of France and Italy for the decision on the transfer of air defense systems to protect against missile terror of the Russian Federation.

– We are looking forward to our specialists, because in the spring they will return to Ukraine not empty-handed, but with knowledge, skills and the SAMP/T-Mamba complexes themselves, – he added.

Earlier, France and Italy agreed on the transfer of SAMP-T air defense systems to Ukraine. This is the first long-range European anti-missile system developed by these countries. It will make it possible to defend against attacks by drones, missiles and Russian aircraft, covering a large part of the Ukrainian territory.
