They are sending infantry wave after wave. Budanov spoke about the occupiers’ new tactics in the Bakhmut area

Russian troops are using new tactics near Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
The head of the Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, told Forbes in an interview.
– “Everyone can see the transition to a different tactic in Bakhmut. Vuhledar was a vivid example of this. In Bakhmut, it’s just wave after wave of infantry. Their artillery only supports them, and there are very few armored vehicles. In Vuhledar, armored vehicles were used, but they were destroyed in the first hours, and everything turned into small arms fighting,” he noted.
He also added that for two months now, the Russians have been living in a mode of maximum ammunition conservation. More or less normally, ammunition is now being used only in Bakhmut, Vuhledar and in the Liman sector.
Also, the Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said that decisive battles will take place from mid to late spring.
