Ukraine is forced to declare an air alert and deploy air defense systems on alert when the MiG-31 takes off in Belarus, because there are certain risks and they are not only related to Kinzhal missiles.
Military expert Oleg Zhdanov announced this on his YouTube channel.
– It’s not about the Dagger missile. So the MiG-31 planes took off, in Russia they see that we do not activate the air alarm and at this moment they launch a salvo from Iskanders or other cruise missiles. Our air defense is not in combat readiness, and the rockets hit at that time. All this happens in a complex. That is why we cannot ignore the threats. Because this MiG-31 may be to divert attention. And while we are thinking whether to turn on anti-aircraft defense or not, a cruise missile is already flying at us. In the future, when we will have a multi-echelon air defense system, I hope we will be able to adequately respond to it, – Zhdanov noted.
