At the Stavka, Zaluzhnyi and Syrskyi spoke in favor of strengthening our position in Bakhmut

On Monday, March 6, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff.
The members of the Staff heard reports from the commanders of the operational and strategic military groups on the situation on the main front lines, with a detailed review of the situation in Bakhmut.
According to the Presidential Press Service, assessing the course of the defense operation, the President asked about further actions in the Bakhmut sector.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi and Commander of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Troops Oleksandr Syrskyi called for the continuation of the defense operation and further strengthening of our positions in Bakhmut.
The meeting of the Staff, in particular, addressed the supply of weapons and equipment and their distribution to operational areas.
The meeting was also attended by the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov, Chief of the Operational Department Andriy Yermak, and commanders of the military services and operational areas. The meeting was attended by members of the government, heads of security and law enforcement agencies.
