The American aerospace company Maxar Technologies has shown what the city of Bakhmut looks like, where some of the fiercest battles on the front are taking place.

One of the pictures taken on Monday, March 6, shows that the remains of the bridges over the Bakhmutivka River have been destroyed.
The river divides the city and can be used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a defensive line to contain the Russian offensive.

The most serious destruction is observed in the quarters in the eastern districts of the city. Earlier, Russia stated that this part was apparently under its control.

Another image, taken on Monday, shows a neighborhood and a bridge in the southern part of the city that have been heavily damaged in the past few weeks.

Earlier, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Cherevaty reported that the Russian enemy is reinforcing troops in the Bakhmut area and is withdrawing all its equipment there.
He also emphasized that NATO does not fully understand the war in Ukraine, if they talk about the possible fall of Bakhmut’s defenses.
