The European Commission is preparing a new legislative text that will make it possible to apply sanctions to family members of famous businessmen from the Russian Federation.
Politico writes about this with reference to three diplomats.
– The executive body of the EU informed the EU countries on Wednesday that it is working on the criteria for the list of family members, diplomats said, – the publication notes.
The commission did not detail what criteria it is about and did not indicate a time frame when this will happen.
