Women’s mobilization and summonses in Diya: Malyar debunked the main fakes of Russian propaganda

The Kremlin propaganda continues to spread fakes and myths; in particular, they are working on discrediting mobilization.
This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar on Telegram.
– Thus, messages about the mobilization of women have returned to the agenda of pro-Russian telegram channels. It would seem that this topic has not received much interest so far, but they are persistently trying to “promote” it, despite the lack of success, – she wrote.
The Deputy Minister noted that in Ukraine, women are not mobilized without their consent, even medical professionals, and are not sent to the front line without their permission.
– If a woman liable for military service receives a call-up, it is to clarify her information. According to the law, they must do this every five years, – Malyar explained.
Information is also constantly circulating that Diya will allegedly be the one to issue the calls. This is also not true – this issue is not being worked on.
Another Russian narrative is that those mobilized are sent to Bakhmut immediately without preparation.
– In fact, those mobilized who have not served in the military are sent to training centers. Due to the large-scale war, the training of privates and sergeants is carried out in a shorter time frame, but without reducing the quality of training, – says Malyar.
She said that if a person without weapons skills and training is sent to the front line, he or she should call the Ministry of Defense hotline: 0-800-500-410, 0-800-500-442, and 044-454-44-99.
– To quickly understand and take action, you need to give the name and surname of the mobilized person and the number of the military unit to which they were sent and which TCC sent them, – says Malyar.
Also, you need to know that mobilized people are sent to different destinations, not just the East.
– There are many rear military units in different regions of Ukraine whose task is to bring our victory closer. The spectrum is wide – from educational institutions and units to bases, warehouses, and arsenals, and we can also add repair, communications, and cyber defense units. It is worth mentioning airfields, hospitals, and motor depots. They need round-the-clock security and defense. People are also mobilized for such positions, – says the Deputy Minister.
