Dismissal of Shkarlet and Ryabikin: Shmyhal announced personnel changes for the next week

A meeting of the Servant of the People political party faction discussed personnel changes in the government for next week, including the dismissal of Education and Science Minister Serhiy Shkarlet.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this.

He noted that Oksen Lisovyi would be appointed in his place.

The Permanent Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, said that Shkarlet’s resignation has already been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

In addition, Pavlo Ryabikin, Minister of Strategic Industries, will be dismissed. Oleksandr Kamyshin will take his place.

– In addition, Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov will be in charge of a number of other areas besides digitalization. His future position will be Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, – Shmyhal said.

The Rada has also registered relevant statements against Ryabikin and Fedorov.
