The Major General of the SBU explained whether the Russian Federation will be able to recruit the declared 400,000 people into the army
Within a certain period of time, the Russian Federation will be able to recruit the declared 400,000 men into its army for the war against Ukraine.
Major General of the SBU Viktor Yagun stated this on the air of United News.
– They have a huge potential of personnel and the 400,000 they have set as a goal, they will recruit them anyway. I think that they will also carry out covert mobilization, but at the same time, the problem is not that, the problem is what to put them in, what to wear, where to get those shells, – he says.
At the same time, Yagun said that Russia is losing an insane amount of its personnel.
– Nothing is being prepared. We told at the end of January – the beginning of February what was actually happening with the possible offensive of the Russian Federation. Russia used the old Soviet principle, when the direction of the main attack was not determined and they concentrated the reserve itself away from the front and tried to advance in all sections, testing where it would be successful. The Russian Federation did not succeed.
Russia, losing an insane amount of its personnel, was forced to spread this reserve along the front line. Therefore, it is very difficult to say that they are holding something somewhere and will try to join some kind of struggle. I don’t believe in it, – says the Major General of the SBU.
