Russian troops shell the center of Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region, six dead
On the morning of April 2, Russian troops shelled the central part of Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region.
Update at 13:20. The head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, said that the death toll has risen to six, and eight people are wounded.
He noted that the enemy struck twice (S-300) and fired four volleys (Uragan MLRS).
– 16 apartment buildings, eight private houses, a kindergarten, the building of the Kostyantynivka State Tax Inspectorate, gas pipes, and three cars were damaged, – the statement said.
This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko.
He noted that multi-story buildings and private houses sustained considerable damages.
– The victims are currently being provided with the necessary assistance. Rescuers and police are working at the scene. Information on the scale of the destruction and the number of victims will be updated, – Kyrylenko added.
Earlier, the authorities decided to evacuate d children from Sloviansk in the Donetsk region forcibly.
