The Russian army in the temporarily occupied Mariupol continues to strengthen at the Azovstal and Ilyich plants, as well as at the port. They are preparing for defense and for more fierce battles.
Petro Andrіyshchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, reports this in his Telegram.
– The Russians continue to strengthen. Bridges. Azovstal. Ilyich Port. You should not dive into self-deception and believe the comforting fabricated news about the panicky mood of the occupiers in Mariupol.
The Russians are preparing the city for defense and fierce battles. Sometimes it’s funny and idiotic, but they are preparing, – he wrote.
According to the adviser, the maximum militarization of the city directly indicates that the occupiers are not planning any “Kherson scenario” there and believe that they are in Mariupol “forever”.
– I hope that for now. At the same time, workers of the military commandant’s office and officers of the city’s defense garrison are already looking for houses on the sea for rent. The civilian occupiers are buying seedlings and planting vegetable gardens.
Therefore, a new battle for Mariupol awaits us. Definitely. But do not devalue the hard work of our Heroes with invented “panics of the occupiers”, – Andrіyshchenko wrote.
