Reznikov named two reasons for the end of the war in 2023
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov expressed hope that the war in Ukraine will end quickly. He believes in 2023 as the year of victory.
He said this in an interview with NV.
Reznikov noted that there are two main components due to which the war cannot last long – limited resources and the information component.
– This is truly the biggest war on the planet since World War II, with the use of all non-nuclear weapons, state against state. But, first of all, it is a war of resources. And the resources of the Russians are decreasing, and so are ours. But we have a Rammstein club, as I call it. It is more than NATO, it is more than 50 countries that want our victory, invest in it and believe that it is real. Therefore, it is a war of the resources of the Western world against the resources of the occupiers, – he said.
In addition, the Minister of Defense believes that “this war cannot last long, because the world knows about its crimes – about Bucha, Irpin, Izyum, Mariupol, Balaklia.”
– People feel their emotional involvement in this war, that they can influence it, I’m not talking about modern technologies that make it possible to deliver accurate strikes and balance the lack of manpower. I think this war will end quickly. Of course, I would like it not to start, but personally I believe in this year as a year of victory, – he added.
