The threat of Russian missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine remains. Currently, at least 12 Tu-95 strategic bombers are stationed at Russian airfields, which the enemy could use during an attack.

– The threat of missile attacks has not disappeared, – he warned.

Ihnat clarified that the aviation group of Russian troops is at the airfields, in the places of deployment, and the enemy’s tactical aviation is operating at the front.

– Long-range, strategic aviation has not disappeared and is dispersed at different airfields. I am referring to Tu-95 aircraft. They may also be in readiness to use missiles. Because at least 12 aircraft that can attack Ukraine are observed at these airfields, – Ihnat emphasized.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Navy reported that as of the morning of April 8, 7 Russian ships were on combat duty in the Black Sea. Among them is one missile carrier that can be equipped with four Kalibr cruise missiles.

In March, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russia was depleting its stockpile of missile weapons. Therefore, massive attacks on Ukraine may occur once a month or even less often.
