In the direction of Kupyansk, the occupiers had to flee from the fire of the Armed Forces – Syrskyi
The commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi said that the invaders are trying to advance in several directions at the same time, but are failing.
The defense forces of Ukraine, despite the high activity of the enemy, restrain the advance of the Russians.
So, the Russian invaders tried to advance in the Kupyansk direction, but thanks to the effective fire of our artillery, the invaders had to flee, not even reaching the border of the transition to the attack.
In the Lyman direction, the actions of the Russian army were also unsuccessful.
– All (the enemy’s – Ed.) attempts to carry out offensive actions failed due to the stability of our positions and the courage of the soldiers, – Sirskyі emphasized.
The Bakhmut direction remains the epicenter of hostilities in the East of the country.
The enemy does not abandon the goal of taking control of the city at any cost. Now the enemy is increasing the activity of heavy artillery and the number of air strikes, turning the city into ruins.
However, the Defense Forces are inflicting significant losses on the occupiers, which significantly slows down their offensive.
