Ukrainian anti-aircraft units destroyed 10 of 11 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones that the Russian Federation launched in the East.
This was announced on the night of April 20 in his Telegram channel by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk.
The military said that the enemy attacked with attack drones and guided aerial bombs that night.
– 10 out of 11 Shahed-136/131 units were destroyed by units of anti-aircraft missile forces of the Eastern Air Command, – the report says.
The military was urged not to use “Air Force insignia or inappropriate jokes for hype, flying saucer memes, and more.”
– We continue to fight for our heaven and earth, and we will definitely defeat the occupier, – the message says.
Before that, according to data at 10:30 p.m., the Air Force informed that the flares over Kyiv were related to the fall of a satellite or meteorite, the information about which is still being clarified.
It will be recalled that on April 19, residents of Kyiv reported loud noises , after which an air alert was announced.
In addition, the sounds of explosions were also reported in Dnipro , where it was later reported that Iranian-made Shahed drones had been shot down.
