Discussed assault plans with the commanders: Syrskyі arrived in the Bakhmut area

Ukrainian commanders and servicemen discussed the planning of assault operations and defense in the Bakhmut direction.

On the evening of April 23, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyі, wrote about this in his Telegram channel .

– Bakhmut direction. Our defense continues. I drove the entire line of contact, I was in the units that hold the entire Bakhmut front. Here we work together with commanders and soldiers on planning operations, offensive actions and defense, monitor the situation directly on the ground, – he wrote.

Syrskyi added that it is important for him to be side by side with the Ukrainian military during active hostilities, so he personally came to support the servicemen.

– We hit the enemy, often unexpectedly for the enemy, and we continue to hold strategic lines. Soldiers who carry out active assault actions to seize Russian positions receive incentives and rewards. Everyone here is a hero, – said Sirskyi.

The commander of the ground forces added that the Russians are suffering heavy losses, and the Armed Forces are destroying their personnel and offensive potential.

Colonel-General Syrskyі is not coming to the Bakhmut direction for the first time, but has previously visited the city itself several times.

Recently, the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian occupying forces are concentrating most of their forces near Bakhmut, as they aim to establish complete control over the eastern Ukrainian city. At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers have to use the tactics of dynamic battles in order to restrain the Russian onslaught in Bakhmut and inflict maximum losses on the enemy.
