21 drones were destroyed: the commander of the Air Force thanked the military for combat work

On the night of May 3, the Air Force, together with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces, destroyed 21 kamikaze drones of the Shahed type.

For elimination, anti-aircraft missile weapons, aviation and mobile fire groups were used in the areas of responsibility of the Center, East and South Air Commands.

The commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk, thanked all military personnel for their combat work.

As reported by the Air Force, on the night of May 3, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made drones from the north (Bryansk region of the Russian Federation) and the south (the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov).

In total, the invaders used up to 26 Shahed-136/131 attack drones.
