Evacuation buses from Kherson are arriving in Odesa. The number of people evacuating has increased due to the latest terrorist attack and the two-day curfew.
This was reported by ICTV Fakty journalist Oleksandra Chenkova.
At the same time, up to 100 people arrive per day, most of them are families with children, pensioners and people with disabilities.
In Odesa, people are met by volunteers who are ready to provide them with housing, humanitarian, legal and financial assistance. Psychologists also communicate with people.
The evacuation is organized by the Kherson Military Regional Administration. People are being taken out of the city under a two-day curfew that will be announced this weekend. However, some residents of Kherson themselves decided to evacuate after the last large-scale shelling of the city on May 3.
In the coming days, Odessa expects to receive up to 300 more Kherson citizens.
We will remind that on May 3, the Russian Federation carried out a massive shelling of Kherson , as a result of which 23 people were killed.
It should be noted that this weekend in Kherson the curfew will last 58 hours in a row.
