Simulating an explosion: occupants are preparing a provocation at Zaporizhzhia NPP
The occupiers are going to imitate a strike on Zaporizhzhya NPP facilities and then blame Ukraine for it.
This was stated by a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov.
– According to the latest information, the occupiers continue to use elements of nuclear blackmail and nuclear terrorism. In the near future, they are preparing a provocation, namely, an imitation of an attack on the facilities of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant with elements of nuclear material leakage. “For this purpose, the occupiers have already deployed appropriate means of destruction on the territory of ZNPP,” he said.
Yusov noted that immediately afterwards, the invaders plan to use the so-called Rosatom experts to allegedly “record” the strikes. At the same time, representatives of international structures and organisations, including the IAEA, will also be invited.
– The purpose of this provocation is to accuse Ukraine of the alleged shelling of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. However, the main goal of the Russians is to obstruct the actions of the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces to liberate our occupied territories in the East and South of Ukraine. After all, the occupiers may then demand a moratorium on military action,” explained the representative of Ukraine’s military intelligence.
He noted that the Russian military may soon organise such provocations using elements of nuclear materials and chemical weapons along the entire frontline in the East and South of the country.
