The Armed Forces are entrenched in the Klishchiivka area near Bakhmut, heavy fighting continues – General Staff
The defense forces are continuing offensive operations in the Klishchiivka area near Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and are having success.
This was announced by the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Kovalev.
According to him, Ukrainian troops continue to knock out enemies from the previously captured borders north and south of Bakhmut.
– In the Klishchiivka area, they have partial success, they are established at the achieved boundaries. Heavy fighting is going on here, – he added.
As for the Lyman, Avdiiv and Maryin directions, here, as Kovalev emphasized, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repel the attacks of the occupiers.
In particular, on Lyman, the enemy tried with the support of aviation to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions in the area west of Karmazynivka, Luhansk region, but all attempts were unsuccessful.
On Avdiiv – our troops continue to hold back the enemy’s offensive in the Pervomaysk district of the Donetsk region.
Heavy fighting continues in the Maryin area, however, the Defense Forces repulse all the assaults of the occupying forces.
