Extra structure: the Main Directorate of Intelligence spoke about the reasons for the incident on the Crimean Bridge
The Main Directorate of Intelligence does not comment on the reasons for the events on the Crimean Bridge, but it is obvious that this construction is unnecessary there, and now the Russians will have problems with transferring military forces and assets.
This is how Andrii Yusov, the spokesman of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, commented on the information about the incident on the Kerch Bridge on the night of July 17.
– Now the whole world sees multi-kilometer traffic jams and violations of bridge structures. Regarding additional comments on the reasons for this, we do not comment. We can only quote the words of the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylо Budanov, that the construction there is unnecessary, – he emphasized.
According to him, the only important thing at the moment is that the occupiers will have logistical problems due to the destruction of the bridge section.
– Any logistical problems are additional complications for the occupiers, which create potential advantages for the Ukrainian defense forces, – Yusov emphasized.
On the night of July 17, the Russian occupiers reported an emergency situation on the Crimean Bridge , as two sections were damaged there. Road and rail traffic has been stopped. The ferry crossing is also not working.
According to Russian Telegram channels, there were at least two explosions that were heard in Kerch. They also write that there are dead and injured.
