Another 3 square kilometres of territory liberated near Bakhmut in a week – Malyar

Ukraine’s defence forces have liberated another 3 square kilometres of territory near Bakhmut, Donetsk region, in counter-offensive operations over the past week.
This was announced at a briefing by Deputy Minister of Defence Hanna Malyar.
According to her, Ukrainian troops are advancing on the southern flank of the city.
– “In general, we can talk about 43 square kilometres around Bakhmut being liberated,” she said.
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Defence Forces conducted counter-offensive operations in at least two frontline areas and advanced in the area of Robotyno, Zaporizhzhia region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian troops continue their counter-offensive at the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions.
