The effectiveness of air defence will be higher: Nayev on possible Russian strikes on critical infrastructure

Ukraine has received more air defence systems since last winter, so the effectiveness of its work during the next Russian attacks will be higher.
Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this in a commentary to Reuters.
According to him, the military understands that Russia has not abandoned its criminal intentions to attack Ukraine’s critical infrastructure.
This is how the enemy wants to harm our country and its economy.
– Last winter, we had fewer (air defence systems – Ed.). Now we have more, so the efficiency will be higher,” Nayev said.
As a reminder, yesterday President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff to discuss preparations for the winter.
The participants focused on a comprehensive plan to protect critical infrastructure facilities from Russian strikes.
