On Tuesday, October 3, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited brigades performing combat missions in one of the hottest areas, Kupiansko-Lymanske.
This was reported by the presidential press service.
In particular, Zelenskyy spoke with soldiers of the 103rd separate territorial defense brigade, the 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, and the 25th separate airborne brigade of Sicheslav.
– “We discussed the operational situation on the battlefield, topical issues, and needs with the brigade commanders and combatants,” the statement said.
In addition, Zelenskyy held a meeting with the military on the security situation in the Kupiansk-Lyman area. The head of state heard a report from General Oleksandr Syrskyi on defense in Kharkiv region, offensive actions in Bakhmut and other areas.
The President also heard reports from local heads of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police and held a separate meeting on preparing Kharkiv region for the winter.
Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had eliminated 111 units of enemy weapons the day before.
