We expect more air defense systems from partners before winter – Zelenskyy
Ukraine expects certain decisions from its partners on the provision of air defense before winter.
This was announced in his traditional address by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
– “We are doing everything to give Ukraine more air defense systems before winter. And now, by the way, we are waiting for certain decisions from our partners. But all the work in the regions that relates to the physical protection of critical facilities and urgent reconstruction should be done as much as possible before winter,” he said.
In addition, the Head of State spoke about today’s important meetings, in particular with the head of the GUR.
– There were various meetings. Among the main ones was the meeting with the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. It was very informative. We talked about good things for Ukraine – we managed to achieve something important in security issues. The details will come later,” he said.
Also on the conference call today was a report by the head of the SBU on countering collaborators. According to the President of Ukraine, it was informative.
– I held a meeting with government officials – we agreed on it yesterday in Kharkiv. We have various government programs for recovery, for helping the regions and people who have lost their homes. There is work to rebuild the social sphere and physical protection of energy facilities. I have instructed to prepare a detailed report on these issues,” Zelenskyy said.
